Job Description
UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Physician Assistant for our cardiology department. This provider will collaborate with physicians with the treatment of clinic and inpatient cardiac patients.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Licensure Requirements
- Completion of an accredited graduate –level Advanced Practice Provider PA program.
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e. Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.
Professional Experience Requirements:
- At least 2+ years experience as a PA in a cardiology setting
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
- Demonstrated clinical competency.
- Effective at collaborating with physicians in the treatment of patients
- Manages and assists with inpatient cardiac patients and cardiac labs
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
- Effective interaction and care of patients
- Documentation of medical records for accurate billing
