Delivery Associate-CDL Class B

DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for an associate with a “whatever it takes” attitude.
The main responsibility of this position is to provide accurate and efficient transport and delivery with safety being a priority.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Always focus on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to.
- Stock/configure the truck in the most efficient manner with the assistance of other warehouse staff daily.
- Strictly adhere to all DOT regulations regarding work hours through the use of a company issued electronic logging device.
- Provide accurate and dependable delivery of allocated orders on an as needed basis as directed by management.
- Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
- Report directly to the Warehouse Manager, Assistant Managers, and Supervisors in accordance with other team members.
- Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.

- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- CDL Class B New York State driver’s license and a clear driving record as defined in the DiVal employee handbook.
- High school diploma / GED equivalent.
