Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Sourcing/Recruitment/Selection Process - 75%:
Proactively sources candidates using a variety of methods and tools, including networking, social media, recruitment marketing, list serves, passive candidates, resume databases, and Boolean searches through job sites and search engines and communication campaigns through the CRM system.
Engages job seekers through sourcing and screenings, conducts first interviews with candidates, and makes recommendations for second interviews to Hiring Manager. Maintains applicant correspondence via the applicant tracking system and documents via interview evaluation form the basis for recommendations.
Communicates with Hiring Manager regarding needs for position/department and updates or creates job postings based on approved staffing requisitions.
Facilitates position presence on Orthopedic One careers website and coordinates/distributes posting of positions to job boards, professional organizations, or other internet-based posting boards/social media according to Orthopedic One policy.
Develops selection tools that reflect a high level of understanding of job qualifications, considers hiring manager needs, and supports identification of high-quality candidates through the selection process. This may include development and or maintenance of job postings, planned interview guides and screening tools, etc., appropriate for the position.
Ensures the maintenance of accurate and complete records concerning the recruitment process and facilitates completion of staffing requisition files.
Facilitates job offers for candidates selected by Hiring Manager, including obtaining compensation approval, coordinating start date and communication surrounding benefits.
Demonstrates qualities consistent with an elite recruiter and is familiar with a scorecard approach to recruiting metrics such as responsiveness, efficiency, quality of hire, productivity, cost, and quality of service.
Onboarding 20%:
Cross trained with the Human Resources Assistant to support preparation for group onboarding and orientation processes.
Participates in the pre-employment and onboarding process of selected candidates by facilitating completion of reference and background checks on job candidates, communicating information to interested parties regarding the new hire (i.e. IT, Facilities, HIM, Compliance, etc.), and conducts verification of all licensure/certification as required by position.
Contributes to providing an excellent day of hire experience with new hires by supporting new hire meeting, delivering Orthopedic One resources to support the new hire, completing required documentation, assisting with computer systems overview, and items pertaining to the onboarding process.
Continues to support the new hire experience by participating in the preparation for the New Hire Orientation and conducting 45-day post-employment interview with new hires to follow-up on their employment experience, answer any questions/concerns, and provide feedback to hiring manager as appropriate
Other HR Responsibilities 5%:
Develops and maintains relationships with external organizations (including educational institutions and community organizations) as a source to generate qualified and diverse applicants.
Assists in the planning and execution of internal and external, in-person and virtual hiring events.
Researches best practices and identifies changes and trends in the market to help drive a competitive recruitment strategy.
Work closely with the HR team and leadership on various projects.
Provides support to HR leadership and other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, Certification and Licensure Requirements:

A high school diploma/GED required. A degree in business or human resources is preferred, however, commensurate work experience can be considered. Position requires a minimum of two years’ experience specific to Human Resources which including talent acquisition responsibilities. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred. Previous systems experience including ATS, HCM, CRM, and Microsoft Office required.
