Position Summary
- Responsible for ensuring that insurance requirements and financial obligations are obtained and/or communicated to patients for collection of elective hospital services prior to date service and/or billing. Responsible for ensuring that insurance requirements and financial obligations are obtained and/or communicated to patients for collection of elective hospital services and physician practices as required prior to date of service and/or billing.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits.
Secures precertification.
Completes Insurance Notifications.
Medical necessity verification.
Communicates financial responsibility to patients for scheduled procedures.
Qualifications

- One year of medical office/hospital registration/patient accounting experience
