The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The project manager will lead the planning and implementation of project; facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables; track project deliverables using appropriate tools; provide direction and support to project team; present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions; project evaluations and assessment of results. The primary project will be the design and delivery of ICD-10-CM/PCS training courses for the purpose of educating physicians, medical staff, and coding staff in the hospital environment and physician offices as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Professional & Technical Skills
-
3-5 years of management experience. Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management. Must be proficient in the ICD-10-CM/PCS coding systems. Requires excellent one-on-one and group presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to use a variety of learning/training concept and principles. Excellent verbal/written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Managment or related field. ICD-10 Trainer Certification preferred.
