Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Hemodialysis Nurse (RN) for our new Dialysis Center expected, to be open in November 2025! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
About the area: Located in the heart of the Ozarks, our main campus in Bolivar has a hometown feel and affordable housing options of rentals or apartments. Enjoy a movie, a round of golf or a college game with family or friends and grab a coffee or meal from an array of shops and restaurants! Springfield is only 40 minutes away with Battlefield Mall, Big Shots golf, Wonders of Wildlife, Urban Air and many other family attractions and restaurants to visit. About the department: The center will have 16 hemodialysis chairs, each facing the large windows offering scenic views. It will also feature a patient room for home peritoneal and hemodialysis education, a waiting room, staff support areas and a dialysis water room. The CMH Nephrology Clinic, currently in the Douglas Medical Center, will relocate to the new facility once it opens, providing convenient access to comprehensive kidney care in a single location.
A typical day includes: providing direct and indirect care to patients with acute or chronic renal failure.
- Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on the disease process.
- Provide support to the patient for medications and self-management.
- In the interim of the building being completed, dialysis nurses can be hired to CMH and receive nurse and EMR training.
The position is Full-Time, Days. 5:00am-5:30pm. Mon, Wed, Fri schedule to start.
- Once center is fully open: will transition to (3) 12 hour shifts Mon-Sat with 2 Saturdays a month
Job Requirements:
- Education: Associates or Bachelors degree
- Experience: Dialysis training can be provided if you don't have prior experience
- Skills: Adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, and empathy
- License: RN
- Physical: The ability to stand for extended periods, to assist in moving patients and equipment as needed
