Summary
While performing duties related to St. Clair Health, this position is responsible for surveillance (data collection), problem analysis, certification of data, rounds and intervention activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Must meet one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, possess a current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and three years of clinical experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Medical Technology, Epidemiology or related field and three years of clinical, healthcare experience.
Master’s Degree in Public Health
Certification in Infection Control or if not currently certified, certification is required within five (5) years of hire.
Proficient understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system and data management/analysis experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in Infection Prevention
Previous experience in a healthcare clinical setting
