- Check food for proper appearance, portion, and temperature, ensuring it's always guest-ready.
- Clear tables, wipe spills, and keep public areas clean and inviting.
- Handle food safely and follow all sanitation procedures in line with California health regulations.
- Breakdown and clean the service area, return reusable food items to storage, and sanitize counters, floors, equipment, and utensils per hotel and CAL/OSHA standards.
- Respond quickly and kindly to guest requests, questions, or concerns.
What You Bring:
- Friendly, upbeat attitude and guest-first mindset.
- Previous hospitality or food & beverage experience is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (California Food Handler Certification required within 30 days of hire).
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and understand written safety materials (training materials available in additional languages as needed).

Shifts & Schedule:
- We operate 24/7, 365 days a year. Flexibility is key—we may occasionally need to adjust your schedule based on business needs or weather conditions.
- Weekly hours may vary; some weeks may be under 40 hours, others may exceed 40 hours depending on occupancy.
Physical Requirements
To thrive in this role, you'll need to:
- Be on your feet—standing and walking—for most of your shift.
- Frequently use your hands for serving, cleaning, and equipment use.
- Regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
