MRI SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities:
Plans, directs, supervises all technical aspects for all patients including infants, adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics
Responsible for direct supervision of all diagnostic technical personnel
Assist Administrative Director in maintenance procurement of equipment, personnel staffing, MRI protocols and supplies
Responsible for maintaining established standards, safety, disaster, etc.
Responsible for personnel evaluations, discipline, problem solving, and time card computation
Coordinates interarea exams with proper personnel and coordinates student activities
Responsible for general appearance and orderliness of MRI area
Maintains good relationships with others
Maintains currency of job knowledge
Assumes responsibility for institutional requirements
Performs staff duties when necessary for infants, adolscents, children, adults, and geriatrics.
Produces MRI images according to diagnostic and safety protocols for infants, adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics
Maintains Infection Control Procedures according to policy
Prepares, administers and documents contrast media injections for infants, adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics
Performs general duties and has knowledge of Cerner system
Must be knowledgeable in performance of all routine exams and be familiar with all special exams in all patient categories including infant, children, adolescent, adult and geriatric
Must be certified in BLS
Qualifications:
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an accredited radiology program
Must meet the requirements for registry by ARRT
Must be registered, or if a recent graduate must pass registry
Two years supervisory experience preferred
