Position Summary
- Responsible for ensuring that insurance requirements and financial obligations are obtained and/or communicated to patients for collection of elective hospital services prior to date of service and/or billing.
Primary Position Responsibilities
Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits.
Secures precertification, preauthorization, and referrals.
Researches, communicates, and collects copay/coinsurance obligations.
Completes Insurance Notifications.
Qualifications
