Results-driven and personable Front Desk Receptionist with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service and efficient administrative support. Adept at managing front desk operations, including handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and processing patient information with accuracy.
Essential Functions
Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer and direct phone calls and handle inquiries
Maintaining a clean and inviting environment: Keeping the waiting and reception areas clean and inviting
Communicating with other team members: Communicating with other team members and departments
Collects, sorts, distributes, or prepares mail, messages, or courier deliveries
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Skills and Attributes
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc)
Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy procedures is desirable.
Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This position requires frequent sitting, walking, standing, reading, seeing, speaking, hearing, listening, organizing, interpreting data and information, operating office equipment, typing using a computer keyboard and mouse, viewing a computer screen monitor, and use of a telephone. Some positions may require lifting, occasional bending or kneeling. The working environment consists of an indoor and climate-controlled setting the majority of the time. The employee may regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus.
1+ years’ experience working as front desk receptionist
1+ years’ customer service
Bilingual Spanish (Preferred)
