Position: Program Assistant, Bronx ACT Team
Function: Supports adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) enrolled in Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) with engagement in employment in fidelity to the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model. At least 65% of the work week is spent in the field in the community.
Reports to: Team Leader, Bronx ACT Team
Schedule: Monday-Friday (9:00am-5:00pm)
Tasks:
- Performing reception activities (e.g. triaging calls and coordinating communication between the program and recipients).
- Assists Team Leader with staff scheduling.
- Orders office supplies.
- Conducts program banking.
- Maintains Client Service Dollar (CSD) accounts and distribute funds to ACT staff.
- Maintains accounting and budget records for recipient and program expenditures.
- Responsible for monthly reports, records, client attendance and billing.
- Attends the daily team meeting.
- Maintains petty cash account.
- Maintains staff time records.
- Handles certain bookkeeping functions.
- Receives and distributes mail/deliveries.
- General office management including maintenance of equipment, inventory and procurement of office supplies.
- Assists Team Leader in arranging for site maintenance/repair.
- Attends training as requested by supervisory staff.
- Duties as assigned by supervisor.
