LCSW/ LPC- Hospice
Education Requirements: Must be licensed in the State of GA as a Clinical Social Worker.
Experience: Four years post graduate experience in health care or related setting preferred.
Required Skills: Must have a current Georgia Driver's license and valid automobile insurance coverage.
Ability to meet with potential patients and caregivers to discuss Hospice services and to
provide those services; may practice all authorized services of licensed master's social
workers; may provide supervision and direction to LMSW and BSW; must be able to
complete thorough psychosocial assessments to include emotional, behavioral, financial and
interpersonal issues and/or concerns; may provide clarification of psychosocial dynamics
and make recommendations; may develop and implement a plan of care; may provide clinical
counseling; other duties and accountabilities as assigned.
Physical Demands: Physical demands are of moderate level, requiring times of prolonged sitting and standing.
Some lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.
Supervises: May be asked to precept MSW and BSW working to obtain LCSW.
