At Orion180, we’re looking for a talented HR Specialist to help support and strengthen our people programs across the organization. This role is ideal for a high-performing professional with a solid foundation in HR practices and a commitment to operational excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
- Support the recruitment process with applicant screening and interviewing.
- Assist with the onboarding experience.
- Coordinate and conduct employee training programs.
- Provide guidance on policy awareness, compliance, and updates.
- Assist with employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Participate in workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Handle benefit administration, renewals, and employee inquiries
- Maintain records and reporting in ADP (entries, audits, updates)
- Prepare reports and documents to support HR.
- Manage administrative HR tasks and contribute to process improvement.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent area required.
- Three (3) plus years’ experience in human resources or related field required.
- Proficiency in ADP required.
- Professional and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and shift direction as needed.
- Demonstrable experience in employee training.
- Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff at all levels.
- Ability to see the larger picture beyond the task at hand and plan for next steps, potential issues, etc.
- Knowledge of relevant employment, health and safety laws.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-directed and able to meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Awareness of business trends.

The office environment fast paced and collaborative. An employee must be willing to work their regularly assigned work schedule, and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on company or departmental needs, project requirements, or customer demands.
While performing general office duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, and reading, able to lift light objects (<25lbs), and use standard office equipment such as computer, printer, and phone. In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist or stoop to open/close cabinets, reach for files or other standard office type objects.
