Program Manager, Research and Evaluation Job Opening SUHI is seeking a Program Manager of Research and Evaluation to work within both the Health Equity and Assessment Research and the Evaluation Technical Assistance strategies. The Program Manager will contribute to all aspects of developing and implementing program activities, including creating project plans, overseeing data collection, managing budgets, and tracking project timelines. They may also serve as lead evaluator for projects, conduct descriptive analyses (quantitative and qualitative), assist with dissemination activities, support the writing of grant proposals and reports, and supervise staff as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Develop and support project management processes to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
• Assist in drafting data collection tools and databases, and conducting data collection and analysis.
• Assist in the development of program goals, objectives, logic models, and evaluation and monitoring plans.
• Draft needs assessment, evaluation, and/or implementation reports.
• Provide assistance identifying, writing, editing, and researching grant proposals.
• Serve as point of contact for collaborative projects with internal and external partners.
• Assist with monthly cost center and budget management activities.
• Prepare IRB protocols, revisions, and addendums.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• A Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Work, or a closely related field and at least 5 years of program management experience in evaluation and/or public health • Experience in managing research or evaluation projects in public health and/or social services
• Experience with project evaluation tools, including database development and management
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Experience with quantitative analysis software (e.g., Stata) or qualitative software (e.g., NVivo) a plus
• Be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple programs
• An interest in social epidemiology and the use of epidemiological research and investigation as tools in addressing the needs of urban and marginalized communities is a plus.
