Price Point Furniture is a Fast Growing independent retail furniture company with years of continued growth. We are looking for a career-minded manager to join our team in one of our future Nashville metropolitan locations.
At Price Point Furniture our store managers are in integral part of the company’s management team. You will help drive the future of our company. Your input on process, merchandising, and marketing improvements are encouraged and expected. You will report directly to the CEO and will be in a position to directly impact the company’s success.
The primary function of a Furniture General Manager is to oversee all aspects of the store and sales team. This person is responsible for staff development, customer experience, and profitability of the store.

Job Responsibilities
· Build your team. Hire, train, and manage sales and sales support staff to offer our customers the shopping experience they deserve.
· Maintain a visually appealing and safe facility
· Manage customer issues to a mutually satisfactory conclusion
· Ensure accuracy of sales orders
· Maintain a visual presence in the store
· Drive a high performing, results oriented culture
· Meet and/or exceed sales and performance goals
Required Qualifications
· Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
· 3+ years of retail leadership experience
· An Owner’s mindset, taking responsibility for all aspects of the store
· A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
· Be inquisitive; look for problems to solve, processes to improve, and ways to improve performance.
· Ability to use sound judgment and decision making
· Ability to set clear goals and expectations
· Ability to communicate effectively and utilize communication tools appropriately

Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
· 5 - 10 years sales experience in retail environment
· Proven successful commission sales experience
· 5+ years of Retail Store Management experience
· Proven track record of successful financial budgetary competency
