The Student Intern is an active participant in a School-to-Work program or internship for academic credit. Interns report to the assigned unit manager, with responsibilities varying by department.

Responsibilities:

Actively participate in an established School-to-Work or credit-based internship program.

Engages in the learning process by observing, asking questions, and completing assigned tasks.

Performs duties specific to the assigned unit or department.
Organizational Expectations:

Attends department meetings and stays informed on shared updates.

Completes all mandatory education, competencies, and health requirements on time.

Maintains any required certifications (e.g., BCLS/CPR) in good standing.

Follows safety protocols, including universal precautions and ergonomic practices.

Complies with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime and alternate shifts if needed.
