Position Description:
FlexGen is seeking a dynamic Salesforce Administrator Associate to join our Business
Operations team. This role is crucial in optimizing our Salesforce platform to support
our needs and enhance operational efficiency. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will
be responsible for configuring and maintaining our Salesforce CRM to ensure optimal
performance and utilization. You will work closely with various teams to understand
their needs and translate into Salesforce solutions. This role is pivotal in enhancing
user experience, improving system processes and contributing to the overall success
of making Salesforce the system of record
Major Job Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration & Support
- Assist in the daily management of the Salesforce platform, including user setup, configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance.
- Provide first-line support to users by troubleshooting and resolving Salesforce-related issues and responding to inquiries.
- Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, and permission sets to ensure appropriate access and security.
- Implement configuration changes such as custom fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules, under the direction of senior administrators.
System Enhancements & Development
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and develop scalable Salesforce solutions that improve business productivity and efficiency.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and list views to support data visibility and decision-making.
- Develop and implement custom workflows, automation, and other platform enhancements based on business needs.
Data Management & Quality
- Support data integrity initiatives, including deduplication, regular audits, and managing data imports and exports.
- Conduct routine system audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure data accuracy and security.
Integrations & System Updates
- Manage and support integrations between Salesforce and other business applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system functionality.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and releases and assist in the testing and deployment of new features.
Documentation & Projects
- Document system configurations, processes, and user guidelines to support training and system consistency
- Participate in and support ad hoc projects and initiatives led by the Business Operations or CRM teams.
Position Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, preferably in an administrative or support capacity.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM functionality, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce customization such as fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and reporting.
- Understanding of Salesforce data management tools such as Data Loader and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ticketing or support systems (Jira)is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Demonstrated poise, organizational savvy, and professionalism when engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving business processes and technology platforms.
