Position Responsibilities:
Our client is looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Engineer to help manage and enhance their technical operations. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and digital networks to support a mid-sized, cloud-native organization.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to develop and refine implementation strategies.
- Support and maintain a fully cloud-hosted infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
- Manage a user base of 500–1,000 individuals within Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, with endpoints running on Windows 11, Linux, and macOS via Intune.
- Oversee the administration of workflow automation tools and virtualization technologies (including VM environments and Kubernetes).
- Evaluate systems for security posture, aligning with internal policies and external compliance frameworks.
- Tune system performance across servers, networks, applications, and databases.
- Monitor operating systems to ensure consistent uptime and responsiveness.
- Integrate and support programs that span across business functions.
- Safeguard system integrity and data flow across connected applications.
- Create and maintain documentation covering design, best practices, and process standards.
- Mentor junior team members to strengthen technical support capabilities.
Position requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure monitoring, provisioning, and technical support.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, including Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Solid grasp of foundational networking concepts like routing, subnetting, and firewalls.
- Experience working under IT compliance mandates such as PCI and/or SOX.
- Detail-oriented, with strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Clear communicator capable of aligning technical decisions with organizational priorities.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Prior experience supporting distributed teams and multi-site operations, particularly in retail or field service contexts.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and provisioning strategies.
- Experience working in Agile development or operations environments.

The pay range for this role is:80,000 - 125,000 USD per year(Minneapolis, Minnesota)
