Join us to build a more rewarding financial future for all Canadians
At Neo, we're on a mission to build a more rewarding financial future for all Canadians. Life at a rapidly expanding tech startup isn't for everyone. It's complex, fast-paced, high-pressure, but also incredibly fulfilling. Since its founding in 2019, Neo has gained incredible traction and is one of the fastest-growing fintech companies in Canada.
The Role
Make the Leap from Strategy to Ownership:
In consulting, you build the case. In product, you build the thing.
At Neo, Product Managers shape what gets built, how it works, and what outcomes it drives. This role is for ambitious consultants ready to trade PowerPoint for product ownership—and who want control over real outcomes, not just recommendations.
Neo processes millions of transactions every day—payments, credit decisions, fraud checks, and more. As we rebuild Canada's financial stack from the ground up, you'll work on systems that touch real customers and drive real KPIs.
You'll take ownership in fast-moving domains like:
- Customer onboarding & verification
- Loyalty systems and customer funnels
- Credit pipelines and decision logic
- Recommendation & personalization engines
- Fraud detection and prevention
- Core product value propositions
- Net-new fintech products
- Internal tooling and operations optimization
What you"ll be doing:
- Transition from advice to execution: define, build, and launch live products.
- Own a full surface—from problem framing to roadmap decisions to outcome tracking.
- Lead squads with engineering, design, ops, and data.
- Make real tradeoffs between feasibility, UX, and business impact.
- Push for clarity in messy, ambiguous environments.
Who we are looking for:
For this specific role path you don't need prior product experience—but you do need the mindset.
Strengths We Expect:
- KPI Fluency – You think in levers. If X moves, Y changes, and Z follows.
- Structured Thinking – You're fast, clear, and can frame a problem in 60 seconds.
- Bias to Action – You don't wait. You figure it out and move.
- Crisp Communication – You keep things sharp, simple, and outcome-oriented.
- Ownership Mentality – You don't just make the slides. You make the thing.
What We'll Teach You:
- How to run a modern SDLC with engineers and designers
- How to scope technical and customer-facing features
- How to build roadmaps, run experiments, and measure success
- How to operate under real constraints—delivery, data, and deadlines
