About the role - Full time, Remote
Unimarket is looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Supplier Relations Manager to strengthen engagement with our supplier community across North America. You'll be at the forefront of building strategic partnerships, supporting supplier enablement, and driving value through collaboration and simplicity. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, with occasional travel. You'll need a comfortable home workspace and reliable internet.
What you"ll do
1. Strategic Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key supplier contacts across a range of categories.
- Represent Unimarket's value proposition clearly and consistently to supplier organizations.
- Lead commercial discussions and strategic engagements, including terms and fee arrangements.
- Monitor supplier-side process or system changes that may impact Unimarket's ability to deliver.
- Act as the escalation point for any supplier-related concerns, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and resolution.
- Promote supplier engagement activities (e.g. webinars, demos, training) to support adoption and retention.
2. Supplier Enablement & Integration
- Own the onboarding process for new Premium suppliers, ensuring a seamless integration experience.
- Scope integration needs in collaboration with customers and suppliers, and document technical requirements.
- Coordinate with Unimarket's integration team to manage configuration, testing, deployment, and go-live support.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
- Support PMO and Customer Success teams with rollout planning and supplier adoption strategies.
- Use customer spend data to recommend high-impact suppliers for Premium catalog enablement.
3. Supplier Support & Platform Advocacy
- Provide day-to-day support to suppliers using the Unimarket platform, including resolving technical queries.
- Partner with the support team to resolve escalations and improve supplier experience.
- Maintain accurate supplier contact records and regularly share feedback and insights internally.
- Contribute to help content and documentation to support scalable supplier self-service.
4. Commercial & Revenue Impact
- Collaborate with Customer Success to drive adoption and increase transaction throughput with Premium suppliers.
- Engage suppliers to improve system utilization and reduce reliance on support.
- Provide input to the Product team on supplier-related enhancements that support revenue growth and operational efficiency.
5. Strategic Input & Market Insight
- Shape Unimarket's supplier engagement strategy in North America.
- Identify opportunities for improved processes, platform enhancements, and commercial partnerships.
- Stay informed on competitor activity and evolving supplier expectations.
- Lead spend audits with Customer Success to identify growth opportunities and underutilized supplier relationships.
- Represent supplier needs in cross-functional discussions with Product, Customer Success, and PMO teams.
About you
- A strong communicator (written and verbal) with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Technical aptitude and experience working in or around integrations or platform-based technology.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, practical terms.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles — ideally in account management, partnerships, onboarding, or project delivery.
- Skilled in using project management or CRM tools to manage pipelines and track progress
