What You'll Do as a Surgery Case Manager
As part of the Redirect Health team, you'll be responsible for:
- Focusing on member priorities with compassion to ensure quality care is delivered.
- Coordinating care and managing the cost of procedural needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Determining fair cost amounts and negotiating directly with providers to secure equitable rates.
- Advocating for members by engaging with provider offices, hospitals, surgical facilities, and anesthesiologists.
- Communicating via phone and email with members, ensuring transparency, trust, and confidence in our process.
- Performing general office responsibilities, including handling client inquiries and documentation.
- Meeting and exceeding KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) tied to coordination and advocacy goals.
- Using analytical and decision-making skills to navigate complex surgical coordination.
- Supporting internal improvement and change management initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare administrative support or case management-related role, required.
- Medical billing background, preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
