Ullico, Inc., one of the nation’s largest sources for real estate first mortgage financing, is actively recruiting a Construction Loan Servicer to join a group that manages a $4.1 billion portfolio. Ullico’s Real Estate Debt Group offers construction and permanent debt financing for commercial real estate. This position will service Ullico’s commercial construction loan investment portfolio; from the loans closing to the loans project completion or loan payoff. This relates to both construction debt and construction equity accounts. Primary focus includes working with customers to obtain the required documentation necessary to advance draws as the project progresses. This is done by analyzing accounting data, ensuring the loan and project budget balances, obtaining missing documents required under their agreements and presenting a draw package for approval before processing the disbursements for release.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Logging and tracking customer requests.
- Determines independently the sufficiency of draw documents and initiate obtaining third party reports.
- Review, analyze, evaluate and process construction loan disbursements.
- Review and understanding of each customer’s loan agreement to identify conditions required prior to funding.
- Identify missing documents that may be required and follow up to ensure receipt. Track key dates for required events.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to obtain information and to provide status updates.
- Notify management of any inconsistencies or deficiencies in the disbursement process or any construction project related issues.
- File organization: virtual and hard copy files.
- Perform other similar and related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- The successful candidate will have an associate’s degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience with loan systems, banking or otherwise. Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail are critical for this role. Candidate must have basic accounting and virtual and hard filing skills and have familiarity with real estate loan documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to multitask and to meet funding deadlines. Must be computer savvy, adaptable to new system applications and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Salary Range:$80,000 - $90,000 (depending on relevant experience, skills, and credentials). This position is eligible to participate in Ullico Inc.’s (“Ullico”) annual incentive compensation program. An incentive award is contingent upon Ullico meeting financial goals set by the Ullico Board of Directors and your individual performance. The elements of the program, including eligibility, the range of potential incentive compensation, and the factors that determine the payment, will be shared with you after you become employed.
