Pay Range: $20.56 - $28.78 / hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides a safe and secure environment for all employees, students, patients and visitors on all SwedishAmerican Health System properties. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System Incentives.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Within orientation period must receive mandatory certification through IAHSS (International Association of Health System Safety and Security.) They must also receive a certification in CPR CPI (Crisis Preventive intervention.) and AVADE training courses within 90 days of hire. Associate Degree preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Must have valid driver's license and must have a driving record that allows for the Health System insurance carrier to cover the incumbent.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Security, Law enforcement or Military background is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to write clear, concise and accurate security reports. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and the public within the organization and community. Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.
