Pay Range: $33.58 - $50.36 / hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
- Provides radiologic imaging, computed tomography imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients.
- Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Utilizes ALARA principles during examinations.
- Implements radiation protection and safety standards.
- Prepares for and assists the physician in procedures, including interventional procedures. Performs reconstruction of CT images.
- Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Minimum:
- Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Preferred:
- Experience as a hospital radiographer and CT technologist
**Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained**
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Minimum:
- Certification by ARRT in Radiology or current NMTCB certification.
- Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency).
- CT certification within 24 months of hire.
- CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.
Preferred:
- ARRT certification in CT.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Minimum:
- Previous healthcare experience
Preferred:
- Two years of clinical experience
