We are seeking a Senior Network Administrator to support the sustainment and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure across development and production environments. This role focuses on maintaining high availability, implementing upgrades and patches, and supporting secure, scalable network operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, automation skills, and experience in secure, mission-critical environments.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in network administration or enterprise infrastructure support.
- IAM/IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, or equivalent).
- Experience administering and maintaining enterprise network and server environments, including virtualized and cloud-integrated systems.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience with system software installation, patching, upgrades, and configuration management.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery, backup/restore procedures, and network security protocols.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation and monitoring.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one."
Desired Skills
- Experience supporting secure federal or defense-related IT environments.
- Familiarity with Oracle Exadata, ZFS, and InfiniBand networking.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of IAVA compliance, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity standards.
- Experience supporting capacity planning, performance tuning, and system optimization.
- Exposure to interface management and coordination with external systems.
