POSITION SUMMARY: The Tele-monitoring Supervisor is a professional whose primary function is to monitor and evaluate patient care along with a variety of department activities. The Tele-Monitoring Supervisor will assist the Unit Manager of Clinical Decision Unit with administrative and clinical management as designated. He/She keeps abreast of techniques, skills, current practices, and regulations appropriate to the age of patients served.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
1. High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Completion of an approved basic EKG or advanced level recognition/interpretation course required.
3. 3 Years Experience as Telemetry technician
Preferred: Previous experience in health care facility in a clerical position is preferred but not required.
