Job Summary: The Foundation Programs Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and expanding the organization’s scholarships and grants programs. This position will be responsible for coordinating the administration of existing programs, developing new funding opportunities, creating and implementing new programs, actively writing and submitting grant proposals to secure financial support for the nonprofit healthcare system’s initiatives, and managing awarded grants. Must possess a thorough understanding of organizational and foundation strategy to optimize the achievement of fundraising goals. Cultivates and maintains relationships with donors, stakeholders and recipients. Supports critical operations and functions of the Foundation through other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required with 3–5 years of relevant experience; knowledge of healthcare nonprofits preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office and Outlook applications. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships. Must have a strong commitment to integrity, teamwork, and customer service to manage multiple projects and changing priorities. Experience with the management of complex funding programs, scholarship programs and/or grant writing preferred.
