General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising the overall program which supports parents involved in dependency court navigate the court system, help them find resources to assist them with their needs to resolve court challenges for their family, assist in transporting parents to court and appointments, as necessary.
- Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow as determined by the department need.
- Makes initial family visit, case assessment and ongoing assessments of family.
- Works closely with county to coordinate referrals, schedules and staff assignments.
- Reviews, approves and signs off on all reports, outcomes, records and closed files. Oversees the program data and filing systems.
Education/Training: A Master’s in social services or a related field of study normally required; life experience within dependency court preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience managing child serving systems normally required. Experience in social work, psychology, mental health field and/or case management is essential.
ADA: State child abuse, criminal history, and FBI clearances; visual and auditory skills; ability to bend, stop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.; valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle report
