We are looking for team-oriented individuals who are energetic, reliable, friendly and organized to join our valet service team. This fast-paced, guest-facing role is key to delivering the first and last impressions of our island-inspired resort experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
Guest Service & Interaction:
· Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
· Provide friendly and professional responses to guest questions about the resort amenities, local attractions, and the surrounding areas.
· Communicate effectively with valet attendants to coordinate prompt vehicle retrieval.
- Remain attentive to VIPs, group arrivals, and special guest requests.
- Obtain information about daily events and rates to be charged.
- Provide directions and respond to general inquiries with confidence and professionalism.
· Observe the “10-5” rule when hotel guests are present.
· Foster positive working relationships with fellow team members, promoting teamwork and collaboration to achieve common goals.
Transaction & Ticket Management:
- Accurately process valet tickets for vehicle check-in and check-out.
- Maintain accuracy and composure while under pressure.
- Handle guest payments through cash, credit card, or room charge transactions using a point-of-sale system while remaining accurate and adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure smooth and secure transactions.
Valet Desk Compliance:
· Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable cashier booth and surrounding valet area.
· Monitor and manage the inventory of vehicles using established procedures.
· Verify claim checks before releasing vehicles to ensure guest property security.
Safety and Compliance:
· Adhere to all safety and security protocols regarding valet operations and cash handling.
· Report any suspicious activity, guest concerns, or operational issues to leadership promptly.
· Demonstrate commitment to a safe and orderly environment for both guests and team members.
What You Will Bring:
- High School or equivalent
- Previous cashier or front of the house experience preferred
- Effective communication and strong guest service skills
- Comfort handling financial transactions with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in an outdoor environment
- A positive attitude and commitment to exceeding guest expectations
· Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
· Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
