JOB DESCRIPTION:
Sales Engineers at Sayari are the evangelists of our most complex software and data analytics products, working alongside our Sales and Account Management teams to run discovery, qualify sales opportunities, and shape large enterprise deployments of our API or Bulk data. You are a trusted advisor to our enterprise clients across Corporates and Global Financial Institutions. You are comfortable collaborating with a broad spectrum of stakeholders ranging from executive sponsors, end users, consultants, and engineering teams; you have strong project management skills allowing you to maintain these touchpoints throughout the sales cycle.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Master all aspects of Sayari’s complex products, including features, functionality, and prescribed uses for REST API, custom data analytics, on-prem application deployments, and deployment of Sayari’s entity resolution engine.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to run discovery and qualification for complex enterprise sales opportunities; map existing workflows, technical architecture, and identify pain points.
- Develop technical presentations to position Sayari solutions, craft success criteria, and own all aspects of the technical evaluation process.
- Be the key conduit for product feedback and client requirements to drive learnings back into Sayari’s Product and Engineering team; scope rapid prototypes to deliver additional value.
- Coordinate across Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure we are driving positive outcomes for our clients.
- Take a leading role in specifying technical solutions and proposal development.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience with Python and Jupyter Notebooks for data processing.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Proven experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of JSON and semi-structured data.
- Exposure to various domains across AML/Financial Crime, Trade Compliance, Export Control, Supply Chain Risk Management, or National Security is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Practical knowledge of the application of ML, and in particular NLP/Unstructured data is a plus.
The target base salary for this position is $150,000-$175,000 plus bonus and equity. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, candidate experience and expertise, internal peer equity, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
