Position Title: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN)
Compensation: $75.00 per hour

Position Summary
The Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) provides quality patient care through the application of the nursing process within a Relationship-Based Care framework. This role fosters strong patient and family relationships, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and demonstrates self-care and compassion to enhance patient outcomes.

Organizational Responsibilities
- Attend department meetings and complete mandatory education on time.
- Maintain licensure and required certifications, including BCLS (CPR).
- Comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active RN license in the state of Indiana.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in nursing care procedures, interdisciplinary planning, and patient education.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Leadership and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Competency in age-appropriate care and cultural sensitivity.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Working Conditions
- Patient care environment with physical exertion and exposure to biohazards.
- Must be able to respond to on-call duties within 30 minutes.
Physical Demands
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (e.g., lifting patients with assistance for weights over 35 lbs).
