Facilities compliance specialist
Position Requirements:
At a minimum, the selected individual must possess the following characteristics:
·Advanced fluency in English speaking and writing.
·Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance or administration is required.
·Minimum 5 years of relevant compliance processes experience.
·Strong understanding of the applicable laws, regulations, and standards for the organization and industry.
·Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
·Organizational, time-management, and project-management skills.
·Attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity
·Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
·Team oriented with strong leadership skills.
·Strong time management, organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
·Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
·Excellent communication skills
Position Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for this position include the ability to:
·Ensure that company complies with its outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal polices and bylaws
·Identify and manage regulatory risks on areas
·Include researching laws, standards, and best practices that affect the organization,
·Developing and implementing policies to ensure compliance in all areas of organization.
·Conduct audits to monitor and evaluate performance, identifying and reporting any compliance issues or violations
·Provide guidance and training on compliance matters,
·Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and recommending corrective actions and improvements
·Staying updated on law, standards, and best practices on compliance.
·Create and implement plans to improve compliance
·Work with legal team, HR, and external auditors
·Developing compliance training programs, for existing employees and managers
