About the role
The purpose of this position is to lead the Kids" Ministry (birth through 5th grade) at our Buda Campus. This position will be responsible for developing volunteer teams to provide a Kids" ministry consistent with Gateway's mission. This role will create a ministry where kids and families are welcomed as they are and have opportunities to connect with others as they grow closer to Jesus and His purpose for their lives.
What you"ll do
- Work as a Team Player to ensure alignment on key matters
- Create a growing and thriving Kids program that is in alignment with all campuses
- Inspire kids to grow in their faith
- Recruit volunteers passionate about the mission and taking steps to grow in their leadership in the classrooms.
- Partner with Parents so that parents are actively involved in their child's spiritual development.
Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate"s Degree
- 2+ years of experience working with kids and/or student
- Proven ability to develop and lead volunteers
- Proven track record of growth and leadership development in previous roles
- Strong communicator and possesses an energetic disposition
- Proven track record of creative thinking and problem solving
- Experience managing teams and building leaders
- Willingness and ability to disciple others, even if they are not involved in the Kids Ministry
The pay range for this role is:20 - 23 USD per hour(Buda Campus)
