Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated healthcare delivery system, is seeking a full-time Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team in Corvallis, OR.

Job Specifics
- Join a well-established, full-spectrum mental health program, with a multi-disciplinary staff to include physicians, nurses, LCSWs, and patient care coordinators.
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Provide competency evaluations and care recommendations for patients in the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center ED and medical floors
- Patient volume can vary widely given the needs of GSRMC at any given time.
- Serve as an attending psychiatrist, with oversight of psychiatry residents and medical students.
- Approximately 2 nights/month of back-up call to residents via phone (call is shared between Samaritan Mental Health Outpatient and inpatient physicians)
- Cross-coverage with the inpatient team an opportunities to engage with our outpatient teaching and services
Job Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Consult-Liason fellowship not required but viewed favorably
- Current Oregon Licensure or license eligible
- BCLS certified
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Psychiatry, open to new graduates
- Knowledge in working with patients who have chronic health conditions
- Eligibility to work in the United States
