SSI is seeking a Program Management Support (TS/SCI)for a role in Colorado Springs, CO.
Our customer is supporting the Government weapon systems program offices with subject matter experts who have a background in test, training, and tactics development to provide enterprise solutions in support of the USSF and Joint warfighting community. Our customer provides systems engineering development and integration expertise in support of various capabilities that protect and defend the Nation's most valuable space assets. The team is at the forefront of advising and assisting the Government with their architecture and full lifecycle systems engineering processes that enable key systems to meet warfighter needs.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Provide advice to Program/Project Managers regarding acquisition strategies, schedules, contracting, budgeting, and execution.
· Prepare periodic status reports, coordinate, and execute periodic staff meetings and technical interchange meetings, and develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings.
· Develop, draft, and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02 / Acquisition Framework, and relevant DoD, AF, and local unit policies that pertain to rapid prototyping. · Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements.
· Provide program element coordination, staffing, and monitoring; advise and assist government customer regarding funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures, including drafting and supporting delivery of program funding documentation and monthly financial reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 9 or more years of relevant experience with:
- Program and/or Contracts management
- Department of Defense Major Capability Acquisition System processes
- Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System processes
- Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution processes
- Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility, and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
- Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.
- Travel is 25% of the time.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent business-related discipline, or Master’s degree in business management, technical management, and/or engineering.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP).
- Experience in the National Security Space and/or the Space Control mission area.
SSI has a target salary range: $120,000 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
