Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner responsibilities...
This part time position provides direct patient care including behavioral health assessment and treatment for Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Psychosis, Delirium, Sleep disorder, Substance Use disorder, Adjustment disorder, grief/loss and other behavioral illness in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and standards of care. Works closely with physicians to develop and coordinate a plan of care to meet the needs of the patient and their families. Participates in program development and training for staff with respect to Behavioral Management. Provides services to Inpatient locations including Salem, Portsmouth, Manchester and Nashua.
To qualify you must...
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current New Hampshire Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Master's degree in Nursing required
- Behavioral Health experience required
- Experience with Geriatric psychiatry and Substance Use Disorders preferred
- Current Federal DEA and New Hampshire Controlled Substance registrations
