About the Role
The role of the Regional Sales Specialist is to build strong wholesale customer relationships and grow sales as set forth by SWIG utilizing phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings as the primary communication method. The Regional Sales Specialist should be talented, focused, and competitive with a desire to drive sales and play a fundamental role in achieving company sales goals. The Regional Sales Specialist is a B2B sales position, which requires an individual to work their assigned regions and projects to maintain business with active wholesale customers, pursue leads for new customers and reactivate dormant customers to make SWIG products the preferred brand in the industry. The Regional Sales Specialist should be self-motivated and work cooperatively with product development, marketing, customer service, operations, and management to meet customer needs and company business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Drive revenue growth by engaging and expanding our direct wholesale customer base through virtual sales channels, including phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with new, existing, and dormant wholesale customers to maximize sales opportunities.
- Execute daily sales activities using company resources, including inbound and outbound calls, email marketing, virtual meetings, and follow-up techniques, to generate and close business opportunities.
- Research and analyze customer needs, preferences, and market trends to recommend tailored product offerings.
- Qualify and respond to inbound leads, ensuring customers receive the appropriate products and services.
- Effectively communicate product information, benefits, and promotions to wholesale customers.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and implement marketing materials and strategies to enhance brand loyalty and customer engagement.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities within the CRM system, providing relevant reports and insights.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand the direct wholesale customer base.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to establish and strengthen customer relationships.
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through strategic account development and ongoing customer support.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of retail, sales or marketing experience, ideally in a B2B environment. Bachelor"s degree preferred.
- Highly motivated with a positive, persistent attitude and a competitive mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong computer proficiency, ideally with experience in CRM systems and virtual communication tools.
- Ability to travel to trade shows required - evening and weekend work during these times will be expected.

Note: Swig Life is currently operating under an onsite work model, and this position will report on site to our Richmond office at least 4 days per week. Additional ad-hoc in office days may be required based on business needs. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable with an on site-work model.
