What You'll Do
Offer an exceptional patient experience at the reception area of Grand River Health Clinics. The Registrar will provide administrative support to clinical staff in order to facilitate the clerical components of referrals for various services. They will serve as the first point of contact for patients within facility and the ideal candidate will portray Grand River in positive, professional light.
- Resolves pre-certification, registration and case-related concerns prior to a patient's appointment.
- Gathers pertinent information from insurance carriers, financial counselors, and other ancillary staff to make certain the patient's financial obligations for services provided.
- Enters referrals and documents communications, actions, and other data in an information system.
- Acts as a liaison between hospitals, physicians, health plans, vendors, and patients, or other referral sources.
- Offers a friendly environment at the end of the patient’s appointment, collect payment, schedule any necessary follow-up appointments, and coordinate patient orders and referrals.
- Responsible for money collected and report accordingly

- Courses or experiences showing commitment, reliability, or work ethic
- Speaks both English and Spanish to better serve our community, but not required
- Brings clinic experience, but we'll train the right person

- $17.50 - $21.14 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
- Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience
