About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician/Houseman plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of the facilities at Fairfield Inn & Suites Minneapolis North/Blaine in Blaine, MN. This part-time position is responsible for performing advanced maintenance tasks, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. The technician will work closely with management to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPO Certified
- Experience in a hospitality or commercial facility maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in facility management.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Complete preventive maintenance inspections on guest rooms.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Cleaning and maintaining public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Delivering requested items to guest rooms.
