Position Summary:
The Returns Specialist is responsible for managing product returns, ensuring compliance with warranty policies, and coordinating replacements or repairs for defective appliances. They work closely with customer service, logistics, and warehouse teams to streamline the returns process and maintain customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Process and document appliance returns, ensuring accuracy in tracking and reporting through RMA requests.
- Verify returned items against warranty terms and company policies.
- Coordinate with service team and warehouse to assess returned appliances for repair or replacement.
- Communicate with vendors regarding return procedures, warranty claims, and resolutions.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company return policies.
- Work with inventory teams to manage returned stock and minimize losses.
- Identify trends in returns and provide insights to improve product quality and reduce return rates.
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum two years of Purchasing/Inventory Control experience.Appliance industry experience a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business a plus.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with inventory management systems or return processing software.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multiple departments.
Position Details:
·Job Type: Full-Time
·Schedule: M-F, 9am – 5pm
·Salary: $52,000/year – Salary is negotiable based on individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
