Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and maintaining efficient operations of the Trauma Service Office. Coordinates all Trauma Service functions and related activities of the Trauma Team with established parameters. Provides administrative support to the Trauma Program Director.

High School Education. Knowledge and preferably skills acquired through at least two years of office experience.

Training and Experience:
Excellent computer knowledge and advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Extensive understanding of clinical software and web browser use. Experience in healthcare related services. Requires excellent written/oral communications skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Requires ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a complex environment.
Demonstrate knowledge of medical record contents and medical terminology including anatomy and physiology concepts. Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines. Requires ability to solve problems; organizational and planning skills, investigative/analytic skills with detailed orientation.
