Position Qualifications
Minimum Education
-
High School Diploma is required.
Experience
-
1 year of prior experience in a medical or office setting preferred.

Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance procedures, and healthcare regulations.

Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Required Registration/License/Certification
-
Certification in Medical Office Administration or a relevant field (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with the public, patients, family, staff, and physician and acts within the chain of command, utilizing positive verbal and non-verbal skills.

Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service to patients, family, staff, and physicians.

Typing, computer skills, word processing, mathematical skills.

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Must have the ability to coordinate and organize details.

Must have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
Physical Demands

Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods.

Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and handle paperwork.

Ability to lift light objects (up to 20 pounds) as needed.
Working Conditions
