Manages the day-to-day operation of Mammography Services including bone osteoporosis scans. Assures accreditation by the FDA of mammography program by performing required quality assurance, maintaining required records, and ensuring that mammography technologists retain certification in mammography. Performs mammography procedures and bone osteoporosis scans utilizing ionizing radiation and specialized diagnostic radiography equipment. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, Mammography certification program (with ARRT Mammo certification), Associate's Degree in related field, and at least four years of Mammography experience as a Technologist. (*Experience requirements may be reduced for internal candidates.)
