Cass Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing dermatology team. This position will augment our current full-time dermatology provider and further expand access to high-quality dermatologic care in our community.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to deliver comprehensive dermatologic services in a thriving outpatient clinic. You will be responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education, while supporting smooth clinic operations and contributing to an exceptional patient experience.
Cass Health also proudly offers aesthetic dermatology through our Med Spa—a serene, modern setting for both women and men seeking to look and feel their best. Staffed by trained medical professionals, the Med Spa provides a full suite of services including Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, facial resurfacing, and premium skincare products. Based on your training and interest, you may have the opportunity to participate in aesthetic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical exams, including dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy.

Diagnose and manage dermatologic conditions in collaboration with the care team.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests; document care accurately and ensure appropriate follow-up.

Perform minor in-office procedures.

Provide education and counseling to patients on treatment plans, preventive care, and skincare.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be a master’s-prepared Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA), certified in family or adult health, and licensed to practice in Iowa. A current DEA license, prescriptive authority, BLS or ACLS certification, and a valid driver’s license are required. Prior clinic experience and familiarity with CPT/ICD coding are preferred but not required.
