THE POSITION
Join our dynamic medical imaging team as a CT Tech Aide and become an essential part of our commitment to excellence in patient care. As a CT Tech Aide you will be trained to understand the utilization, principles, appropriateness and associated risk of radiation and the potential for Contrast reactions. Must be knowledgeable and competent in the operation of basic computer applications, and will be trained how to effectively manipulate image management systems utilized in performing CT exams. S/he also demonstrate patient care skills appropriate for a working environment that utilizes radiation. The position requires clear communication skills, efficient multi-tasking skills, and assists the CT Technologists in planning/implementing basic care as delegated. Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required. Allied Health Experience/CNA Experience (Preferred). If no prior Allied Health Experience—must complete a course in medical terminology.
