The Daily Wire is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of our facilities. This role is responsible for managing building systems, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting workspace logistics. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong leadership skills, capable of managing both day-to-day maintenance tasks and long-term operational strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee basic repairs throughout the facility
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, and building systems
- Coordinate with sub-contractors to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of facilities
- Collaborate with in-house security to ensure all life safety systems are up-to-date and compliant with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local contractors to improve scheduling and service delivery
- Implement and enforce workplace safety policies
- Use data to anticipate and prevent maintenance issues
- Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues with machinery, tools, and equipment
- Develop and manage the facilities maintenance budget
- Supervise facilities staff, including timesheet approvals and time-off management
Experience & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management or equivalent field experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to independently see projects through from concept to completion
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving and initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in G Suite
