POSITION SUMMARY
Provides support in the achievement of organization wide strategic goals. Achieves gain sharing targets. Follows EAMC standards of behavior for leadership. Achieves technical and/or operational competencies in functional area. Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message. Uses appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team and facilitate the completion of team goals. Oversight of hospital operations and departmental responsibilities.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
â—Associates degree in Nursing
Minimum Experience
â—Previous leadership role at the bedside
Required Registration/License/Certification
â—BLS obtained within 90 days of hire
â—ACLS within 12 months of DOH/ Transfer
â—Registered Nursing License
Preferred Education
â—Bachelors degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience
â—Managerial experience in acute care.
â—5 years critical care experience.
Preferred Registration/License/Certification
â—Certification through ANCC, AACN or other specialty
