Summary
Performs blood and other specimen collection as per procedure; performs clerical/computer functions and specimen processing tasks. Performs waived and moderately complex tests as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Completion of one of the following:
Approved phlebotomy or laboratory assistant program
Six months of experience in specimen collection, testing techniques, or a similar field.
Preferred Qualifications
Phlebotomy or Laboratory Assistant registry.
Completion of a phlebotomy, laboratory processing, or equivalent program.
