Position Summary:
The Clinical Manager is a leadership role responsible for managing a team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves mentoring staff and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and organizational policies. The Nurse Practitioner Manager combines clinical expertise with administrative skills to support staff, optimize workflows, and contribute to the strategic goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Staff Management:
· Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Nurse Practitioners.
· Onboarding and training for new NPs when assigned.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, addressing conflicts and concerns as needed.
2. Clinical Oversight:
· Monitor and support NP clinical decision-making to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
· Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain clinical expertise and supplement staffing.
· Serve as a clinical resource and guide staff in implementing evidence-based practices.
· Oversee documentation practices to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with EHR requirements.
3. Operational Management:
· Collaborate with leadership to establish and monitor clinical goals, policies, and procedures.
· Implement and monitor workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and licensure requirements.
5. Strategic Planning and Collaboration:
· Partner with medical and administrative leadership to align clinical operations with organizational goals.
· Act as a liaison between clinical staff and management, communicating updates, policies, and feedback effectively.
· Participate in strategic planning initiatives to enhance service delivery and expand patient access.
Qualifications:
Education and Licensure:
· Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required; Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.
· Active Nurse Practitioner license and prescriptive authority in [state].

Experience:
